What is AMATERASU?

I rise and fall in balance and truth...

Amaterasu is the Japanese sun goddess and supreme deity of the Shinto faith. Through Her descendent Ninigi, who married Konohana, or Sengen, She is the ancestress of the Imperial family. Her name means "Great Shining Goddess of Heaven", and She is the daughter of Izanami and Izanagi, the divine couple who created the lands. Her double shrine at Ise is rebuilt every twenty years, using one of the two identical buildings as a model. Thus the form of Her temple has remained consistent for two thousand years.

I'll be posting my site updates here so I hope the administrative group of this forum aren't that too pissed, please, don't kill me. :icon_huh:

Christmas and 2007 Update!

So much work was put through, time and sweat splurge on every piece of work. Working on HTML and Java mixing everything that makes up the wonderful changes we've made this christmas and the 2007.

Here are the things that we've added that took a VERY large portion of our time but was worth the work.

• Philippine Forum - Good news to all of you filipino registrants because of a major popular demand and request, I've updated the Philippine Forum and EXPANDED them into a whole new community bios that will allow filipino registrants to have more topics,fun and matters to get involved on here in Amaterasu™. I didn't include the English Policy rule in the Philippine Forum which is obvious enough that it is a forum for filipino individuals so everyone can rest easy about restrictions as long as your threads are in the right topics.

• Online Games - As far as games are concerned, most of us live on the online century and we are most likely being succumbed into the wonderful world of online games in which is the reason why I created the online games section which people of different genre of games can discuss, create groups and anything as far as your imagination goes.

• Template Business - This has got to be the most crucial and hardest part of our update. We've installed a whooping number of 200+ templates to compliment each mood in every occasion possible.

• Christmas GP Bonus - I've awarded each individual poster which was present during the update with 1 bonus GP point for being supportive and active in our community.

• International Forum Request - Are you from a different country and want to have a forum that communicates with your language? Just post it in the request section and we'll see it if its valid for approval.

• Smiley Directory - Guess what? We've added a number of 200 smilies in the directory with a wide variation of styles featuring ones from...

-Naruto
-Ragnarok Online
-One Piece
-More Coming Soon...

• Custom Rank - Added more ranks to boost the posting power of our valued registrants. :)

• Video Gallery - I've implemented the monthly video category where registrants are allowed to vote for their favorite video to be submitted in the following month that will be posted in the forum portal.

• Entertainment Plaza - Finally, after 6 straight hours of non-stop work. I've finally constructed the entertainment plaza to add more discussion in our community.

• Console and Donation - We are now catering additional features to our registrants that takes higher steps to improve our mission of unity.

Greetings everyone on Chat-a-Lot Forums!.

After one full month of forum management and some other peripheral activities that must be taken care of, I've finally had the time to invest in constructing the "Download Center"(Upon popular demand).

You can now access it in the "Basic Forums" Category.

The Download center may only be accessed by "REGISTERED" members and some may ask on why it was moved here instead of putting it in the website, well I did it for quite a handful of reasons.

--To save precious bandwidth on the website seeing that traffic can serve as a problem so I conducted the solution.
--Members get to access it anytime in any activity they may be participating.
--Much easier compare to the previous one.
--Security reasons since rumors have passed about board and web hackers are running rampant causing mischief amongst webmasters.

I've also added a new category and a few forums to merge with it.

Again, Thank you everyone for all your constant support and as always, have fun posting.

Greetings to everyone at Chat-a-lot Forums! ;-)

Well, having to throw my hands first time in the world of media productions had me thinking how hard it was. I guess art is still involve when it comes to tastes of editing, I figured that will be the case.

I worked on it for 2 days straight and tried out my luck and skill when it comes to video productions. Mind that this is my first time and for all of you critics and veterans out there who has something to say to my creation --- please say it gently. :D

By the way, I only included members on the video who have posted their real life pictures. As for the remaining members who didn't get included in the video, It's not the end of it and I'll be creating more soon once I hone my skills. In the meantime, start posting those real pictures now!

Anyways, here is my 2 day-straight hard work in one video, enjoy!
